From 15 to 22 May 2026, our organisation Globers was invited to take part in an Erasmus+ Partnership Building Activity held in Cyprus, bringing together youth work organisations from across Europe.
The activity, funded under the Erasmus+ Programme, created an important space for networking, cooperation, and exchange between organisations active in the youth sector. It was designed not only as a meeting point, but as a practical environment to explore shared challenges in youth work, exchange experiences from different national contexts, and develop the foundations for future European projects.
For Globers, the experience was highly valuable from both a professional and strategic perspective. It allowed us to strengthen our understanding of the European youth work landscape, connect with organisations with similar values and goals, and identify potential partners for future Erasmus+ initiatives. The activity also helped us reflect on our organisational priorities and the types of international projects that can generate real impact for young people.
Throughout the week, participants took part in structured workshops, group discussions, and informal networking sessions. These interactions supported trust-building and encouraged open dialogue about future cooperation opportunities. As a result, several project ideas were discussed, and new connections were established that will support future Erasmus+ applications and partnerships.
Beyond networking, the activity contributed to improving the quality of our future work by offering new perspectives on project design, inclusion, youth participation, and international collaboration. It reinforced the importance of cooperation across borders in addressing the needs and realities of young people today.
This experience marks an important step for Globers in further developing its role within the Erasmus+ framework and expanding its European cooperation network.
